Read Politics at Warwick University (UK) having started doing Genetics (lasted 2 weeks!)
Realise British family does not equal British society, leave England.
By some miracle pass exam to work at the European Commission (read EU) at the sweet age of 22.
Start working in Brussels a year later (welcome to bureaucratic land).
Leave Brussels after ten years, having learnt two languages more and gathered an assorted tray of experience - personal, professional and miscellaneous.
Start dream of a life time (although I didn't know it at the time)
Leave home on 29/02/04 - on foot. Walk to Cape Finisterre in Spain, about 3k km or 2k miles... thank Providence I made it.
Currently going round the world - Peru, Bolivia, Brasil, Argentina and Chile visited - last flight scheduled for 30/06/05
